Information on ‘Certificate of Posting’

A Royal Mail Certificate of Posting provides proof of postage and will ensure that in the unlikely event of your handset being lost or damaged whilst on it’s way to us, Royal Mail will cover the contents for up to £41.00 as compensation. You can obtain one from your local branch of The Post Office. We recommend using this method at the very least for your handset. Estimated time of delivery is 1-2 working days*.

Royal Mail ‘Recorded Delivery’

Recorded Delivery ensures your package is tracked until delivery and signed for. You can check on the status of your handset at anytime online by visiting www.royalmail.com. Royal Mail will cover the contents for up to £41.00 as compensation. For a small fee of approximately £2.00 you can send using this method from your local branch of The Post Office. Estimated time of delivery is 1-3+ working days*.

Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’

Using Royal Mail Special Delivery will for a small fee of approximately £5.00, cover the contents of your package for up to £500 in compensation in the unlikely event of your handset being lost or damaged whilst on it’s way to us. We recommend this option if your handset is valuable. Estimated time of delivery is 1 working day*.

Please visit www.royalmail.com if your require further information. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for non-delivery/damage of handsets and therefore recommend packaging your phone in a way that minimises the risk of any damage during transit.
